kristy Burkely, the seagulls newest recruit, told the media after sundays game, that she would like to take the responsibility of wearing the gloves in goals, and playing a half in the nets each week. After Kristy's performance on the weekend, coach Healey beleives she has what it takes to become the leagues top goalkeeper. when kristy copped a ball to the head at training, guarding her goal lines, it was clear that she has potential.
players would be happy to hear about the idea of having kristy playing half a game in goals each match, as other players fear the goal line. Kristy will begin keeper training during the next Cronulla training session. The team has a large amount of confidence in this young talent, and will do what ever they can to build kristy into a star goalkeeper.
